1843-O NGC AU-55 $10 Gold Eagle SS Republic. This type was recovered from the SS Republic shipwreck. It was graded by NGC as an AU-55. It exhibits beautiful surfaces, above avg luster for grade, powerful strike and orginality that is so unique to each piece recovered. There is only 34 of this example that were pulled from the wreck and in gradable problem free condition. There are only a few 1843-O $10 Eagles frrom the recovery that graded higher. There is a handful of AU-58s and just one loan MS-61 example (top pop).  Making this incredible piece the 3rd highest known grade. This is an incredible rarity and great opportunity to own not only a key date $10 Liberty in the series but also with the added value and investment pedigree of the forever famous SS Republic  They come to market very rarely.
